SRB Dance Workshops at PCYC

ALL CLASSES ARE FULL - We may have free classes again from 24th October

There will be weekly dance workshops beginning 6pm Friday 5th September at Bankstown PCYC for six weeks. The workshops are for people new to dancing and aim to teach the basics for each style (Breaking, Popping and "Hip Hop"). We are hoping to start permanent classes at Bankstown post-SRB at an affordable price.

All participants MUST BE PCYC MEMBERS PRIOR TO STARTING (members under 12 years of age must be supervised by an adult). You can sign up at Bankstown PCYC and the membership will be current until the end of 2008.

• Junior Memberships (17 and under) $5
• Senior Memeberships (18 and over) $10

The other cost is the $2 drop-in fee per week which everyone is required to pay, this fee goes towards our end of month BBQ where we provide free food and drinks. We organize a monthly jam/competition to encourage less experienced dancers to compete with more experienced dancers. This is how we aim to develop the younger dancers and help the dance community grow.

• 6pm Breaking - Martin - Hybrid Formz ----- FULL

• 7pm Hip Hop - Nao, Dancekool ----- FULL

• 8pm Popping - Jfunk, Seapuuog ----- FULL

The workshops have limited spaces - MUST DO ALL 6 WORKSHOPS!! Dates for these workshops are:

Part 1: Friday 5th, 12th and 19th of September

Friday 26th is Super Round Box Day 1

Part 2: Friday 3rd, 10th and 17th of October
